Since 2023, Ruth Campbell & Co has been working with Tetra Pak on the landscape redesign of its head office and manufacturing campus in Lund, South Sweden.

Lund is home to Tetra Pak’s largest European site, a multifunctional campus that includes office spaces, production facilities, warehouses, and R&D. In recent years, Tetra Pak has developed an internal Campus Plan that looks ahead to the company’s future—aiming to support business growth, enhance the visitor and employee experience, and introduce a new food concept.

Working closely with Tetra Pak, we have developed a phased Landscape Strategy that aligns with the broader Campus Plan. Grounded in site observation and usage analysis, this strategy sets out a long-term vision for how the campus’s outdoor environment can evolve to support the company's goals.

The Landscape Strategy is structured into four key stages:

• improved pedestrian mobility and intuitive wayfinding
• creation of active zones for employees, including a central mobility hub
• ecological and environmental enhancements across the site
• new outdoor workspaces and social areas for staff

We are currently delivering Phase One, which focuses on mobility and early-stage interventions. The accompanying images reflect the research, design thinking, and development that have shaped the Landscape Strategy to date.
